Το Κέντρο Φυσικής και Πολιτιστικής Κληρονομιάς, μέσα στο πλαίσιο της εκπαιδευτικής του δραστηριότητας διοργανώνει για το Εαρινό Εξάμηνο 2017 σε συνεργασία με το Ανοικτό Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου το ΒΥΖΑΝΤΙΝΟ ΣΕΜΙΝΑΡΙΟ, από τον Φεβρουάριο μέχρι και τον Μάιο.

Τα υπόλοιπα σεμινάρια που αναφέρονται πιο κάτω δεν θα λειτουργήσουν κατά το Εαρινό Εξάμηνο 2017.

Όλα τα σεμινάρια είναι πανεπιστημιακού επιπέδου και απευθύνονται στο ευρύ κοινό, σε φοιτητές, καθώς και σε διδασκάλους Δημοτικής Εκπαίδευσης και καθηγητές Μέσης Παιδείας  για σκοπούς επιμόρφωσης.

Οι ενδιαφερόμενοι μπορούν να παρακολουθήσουν ένα ή και περισσότερα σεμινάρια. Θα έχουν την επιλογή να παρακαθίσουν σε εξετάσεις και να πάρουν πιστοποιητικό φοίτησης ή να είναι ελεύθεροι ακροατές χωρίς συμμετοχή σε εξετάσεις με αντίστοιχο πιστοποιητικό.

Η γλώσσα διδασκαλίας είναι η ελληνική. Όλα τα μαθήματα γίνονται με παρουσιάσεις στο PowerPoint και ορισμένες φορές περιλαμβάνουν και προβολές ντοκιμαντέρ. Τα μαθήματα είναι διαδραστικά και περιλαμβάνουν συζήτηση και πρακτική εξάσκηση στον σχολιασμό και την κριτική έργων τέχνης.

Το κάθε σεμινάριο περιλαμβάνει ένα δίωρο εβδομαδιαίο μάθημα (εκτός αργιών), διαιρεμένο σε δύο περιόδους των 45 λεπτών, με 15 λεπτά διάλειμμα στην μέση.

Η διδασκαλία γίνεται στην αίθουσα διαλέξεων του ΚΕΠΟΚ, Μ. Αλεξάνδρου 10, Παλιά Λευκωσία (πάροδος οδού Λήδρας). Άνετος χώρος στάθμευσης έναντι του κτιρίου. Επισυνάπτεται χάρτης.

Το κόστος για παρακολούθηση των σεμιναρίων, πληρωτέον εκ των προτέρων, είναι ανάλογο με τον αριθμό των μαθημάτων. Δικαίωμα εγγραφής δεν υπάρχει. Τα έσοδα διατίθενται για τις ανάγκες λειτουργίας του Κέντρου Φυσικής και Πολιτιστικής Κληρονομιάς.

The Centre of Natural and Cultural Heritage announces the opening of the following seminars for the Fall Semester 2016.

 

The seminars are of university level and addressed to the large public, to students, as well as to the teachers of primary education and professors of secondary education.

 

Interested people may follow one or more seminars. They will have the choice to pass exams and obtain a certificate or to be free auditors (auditeurs libres) without participating to exams and receive a different certificate of attendance.

 

Teaching language is Greek. Art 105 INTERDISCIPLINARY SEMINAR is offered in English and in French. Other seminars could be offered in English or French up on request.

 

Teaching method:  All lessons are accompanied by PowerPoint presentations and in some cases by documentaries. The lessons are interactive and include discussions and practical exercise on the commentary and criticism of artworks.

 

Every seminar includes two hours lesson per week divided in two periods of 45 minutes. There is a brake of 15 minutes in the middle. The last 15 minutes are dedicated to questions and discussion.

Teaching takes place in the Conference Room of the Centre of Natural and Cultural Heritage, Alexander The Great no. 10, Old Lefkosia, near Ledra street. Convenient parking place in front of the headquarters of CCH. See attached map.

The tuition fees are indicated here below and must be paid in advance. There is no registration fee. The revenues will be used for the operating expenses of the Centre of Natural and Cultural Heritage.

SEMINARS ORGANISED BEFORE 2014

 

In 1995, 1996, and 1997, the Director of the Centre, Dr Sophocles Sophocleous, taught the Byzantine art of Cyprus at the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes in Paris, Sorbonne, as Directeur d’Etudes Invité (Visiting Professor).

 From 2005 to 2012, he has been teaching Art History, Archaeology, and Cultural Heritage at the University of Nicosia.

Within the context of the endeavours of the Centre for better use of Cyprus’ cultural heritage in tourism, a three-month seminar was held in 1994 and 1995 for the Cyprus Guide’s Association. The outcome aimed was to deepen its members’ knowledge of approaching and interpreting the Byzantine and post-Byzantine heritage of Cyprus. A practical workshop was organised at the end, with visits to churches and monasteries.
